ACBuy is a China-based shopping and shipping agent for overseas buyers, covering purchasing, quality-control photos, warehouse storage and international parcel forwarding. It supports Taobao, Tmall, JD, 1688, Pinduoduo and Vipshop on standard sourcing, with paid sourcing from Douyin, Xiaohongshu, Xianyu and similar platforms, and it opens in English with USD pricing.

ACBuy is a cross-border buying agent that helps overseas shoppers buy from China, covering the whole chain from purchasing and quality inspection to international logistics and after-sales support. It runs in two modes — purchasing agent and parcel forwarding — and defaults to English and USD.

According to Similarweb data cited in our source material, ACBuy draws around 1.9 million monthly visits, and its traffic is unusually balanced: the United States is the largest market at just ~16%, followed by Canada, the United Kingdom, Poland and Germany, with no single country dominating. A bounce rate around 24% and roughly 9 pages per visit point to a sticky, engaged user base.

ACBuy's standout trait is reach. It officially supports more Chinese sources than almost any competitor — Taobao, Tmall, JD, 1688, Pinduoduo and Vipshop for free — plus paid sourcing from social-commerce platforms such as Douyin and Xiaohongshu, and second-hand platforms such as Xianyu. Standard-platform orders carry no agent commission; special platforms add a flat 10 CNY per item. It also offers the broadest local-payment support we have cataloged: alongside cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay it accepts iDEAL, BLIK, Pix, EPS, Bancontact, Skrill and Trustly, matching a user base spread across 8 interface languages and 10 currencies.

Items are inspected with 3–5 free QC photos and stored free for 90 days, with paid extension available. The branded AC Care service insures against shipping delay, loss or damage, and customs seizure, paying out up to 10,000 CNY (7,000 for goods plus 3,000 for shipping). A 7-tier VIP program gives up to 6% off international shipping, stackable with coupons. Weidian and Yupoo links route through ACBuy's product page even though they are not on its headline source list — although community reports and the agent's own notices now indicate that rep and Weidian purchasing is no longer supported, and that new order placement has been paused since May 2026 pending a warehouse upgrade.

What works well

  1. Top-tier agent by traffic, with a long track record and an engaged global user base

  2. Wider source-platform coverage than most competitors, including free Taobao, Tmall, JD, 1688, Pinduoduo and Vipshop sourcing

  3. 3–5 free QC photos per item and 90 days of free warehouse storage

  4. AC Care insurance against delay, loss, damage and customs seizure, up to 10,000 CNY

  5. Broadest local-payment support we have cataloged, including iDEAL, BLIK, Pix, EPS, Bancontact, Skrill and Trustly

  6. 7-tier VIP shipping discount of up to 6%, stackable with coupons

  7. Genuinely balanced international demand rather than one dominant market

What to check

  1. Order placement has been suspended since May 2026 for a warehouse upgrade and had not resumed at our last check — confirm status before topping up your wallet

  2. ACBuy no longer supports reps or Weidian purchasing; Taobao and 1688 sourcing is unaffected, so rep and Weidian finds should be routed to another agent such as Kakobuy or Oopbuy

  3. High exchange-rate markup of about 17.6% over the interbank rate, which quietly raises the real cost of every top-up

  4. Nothing is commission-free end to end: the international leg adds a 10–30 CNY customs declaration fee and an 8 CNY handling fee, and special-platform items cost 10 CNY each

  5. Wallet top-up means money sits in the account before you buy; a suspension or a rejected item can leave funds tied up

  6. Storage is free for 90 days only, with a 180-day ceiling, so long storage builds risk paid extensions

  7. Shipping quotes are live and route-dependent; older guides quote rates that no longer apply

Is ACBuy legit?

ACBuy is a real, operating shopping agent with a genuine warehouse, a working payment stack and a large cross-border user base — not a scam clone. Its track record, published fee structure and active support channels (including a Discord community and responsive live chat) are consistent with an established agent rather than a fly-by-night operation.

Two caveats matter more than the legitimacy question. First, the platform paused new order placement in May 2026 for a warehouse upgrade and had not published a restart date at our last check, so treat any funding decision as time-sensitive and confirm status directly. Second, ACBuy no longer supports Weidian or rep purchasing, which makes it a poor fit for Weidian-heavy finds lists even if it reopens.

How ACBuy works as buying and shipping agent

ACBuy splits the job in two. As a purchasing agent it buys from Chinese marketplaces on your behalf: Taobao, Tmall, JD, 1688, Pinduoduo and Vipshop are supported free with no agent commission, while Douyin, Xiaohongshu, Xianyu, Paipai and Zhuanzhuan are treated as special platforms at a flat 10 CNY per item.

As a forwarding service it receives goods into its warehouse, offers 3–5 free QC photos, stores items free for 90 days (extendable to a 180-day cap), and consolidates multiple orders into one international parcel across an advertised 150+ lines. Shipping is charged as a deposit against estimated weight and refunded if you overpay, and the international leg adds a 10–30 CNY customs declaration fee and an 8 CNY handling fee. Optional AC Care insurance covers delay, loss, damage and seizure up to 10,000 CNY, and a 7-tier VIP program discounts shipping by up to 6%, stackable with coupons. Payments run through a top-up wallet funded by cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay and regional methods including iDEAL, BLIK, Pix, EPS, Bancontact, Skrill and Trustly.

Where ACBuy is popular

  • United States 16.09%
  • Canada 11.19%
  • United Kingdom 9.52%
  • Poland 9.2%
  • Germany 6.29%

8 interface languages · 10 checkout currencies. The spread is unusually even for an agent, which is why European and Latin American payment methods such as iDEAL, BLIK and Pix appear alongside the usual card options.

How to use ACBuy

  1. Step 1 — Pick an ACBuy finds list

Community ACBuy spreadsheets circulate on Reddit rep communities (about 94% of ACBuy's social traffic) and dedicated sharing sites. Click any row to open ACBuy's product page. Taobao, Tmall, JD and 1688 links load automatically; Douyin, Xiaohongshu and Xianyu use the special-platform or DIY order flow. Weidian and Yupoo links are no longer supported for rep purchasing, so send those rows to an agent that still handles them.

  2. Step 2 — Confirm the platform is open, then place the order and pay

Order placement was suspended in May 2026 for a warehouse upgrade and had not resumed at our last check, so read the current notice or email [email protected] before funding an account. Once open, ACBuy auto-extracts about 99% of product details from Taobao, Tmall and 1688 links; choose colour, size and quantity, then pay. ACBuy uses a top-up model, so you load your balance first and buy from it, with a roughly 17.6% exchange-rate markup over interbank to keep in mind.

  3. Step 3 — QC, storage and insurance

Goods arrive at ACBuy's warehouse for inspection and 3–5 free QC photos, then 90 days of free storage (extendable). Before shipping you can add AC Care insurance, covering delay, loss or damage and customs seizure up to 10,000 CNY, plus reinforced packaging options.

  4. Step 4 — Consolidate and ship out

Consolidate items from one or more spreadsheets into a single parcel and pick from 150+ shipping lines. Shipping is paid as a deposit against estimated weight and refunded if you overpay, and the international leg adds a 10–30 CNY customs declaration fee plus an 8 CNY handling fee. ACBuy's 7-tier VIP program takes up to 6% off international shipping and stacks with coupons.

ACBuy works like a conventional China buying agent: you submit a marketplace link, the platform buys the item, receives it into its own warehouse, photographs it for quality control, and then consolidates and forwards your parcel internationally once you choose a shipping line. Read it as two separate services — sourcing and forwarding — because the restrictions that matter in 2026 apply mainly to the sourcing half.

1. Pick your finds and open them in ACBuy. Community finds lists for rep goods are usually built from Taobao, 1688, Weidian and Yupoo links. Paste a link into ACBuy's product page or use its image search to find an item. Taobao, Tmall, JD and 1688 links load automatically; Douyin, Xiaohongshu and Xianyu items use the special-platform or DIY order flow at 10 CNY per item. Weidian and Yupoo links have historically routed through the same product page, but ACBuy's current position is that rep and Weidian purchasing is no longer supported — if your list is Weidian-heavy, route it to an agent that still handles those sources, such as Kakobuy or Oopbuy, rather than assuming the link will convert.

2. Check that the platform is accepting orders. This is the single most important step right now. ACBuy suspended order placement in May 2026 for a warehouse upgrade, and community trackers indicated that customers had until around 30 June to return or ship out whatever was still sitting in the warehouse. As of our last check in September 2026 no restart has been published. Before you top up a wallet balance, log in, read the current notice, and if anything is unclear contact support@acbuy.com in writing. Do not fund an account on the strength of an old review.

3. Place the order and pay through the wallet. ACBuy uses a top-up model: you load a balance first, then buy from it. Payments are the platform's strongest feature — international cards including Discover, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and regional rails such as iDEAL, BLIK, Pix, EPS, Bancontact, Skrill and Trustly. Be aware of the exchange-rate markup of roughly 17.6% over the interbank rate, which is where a cheap-looking item price quietly gets more expensive. Standard-platform sourcing carries no agent commission, but confirm the live figure in your own cart, since terms change.

4. Inspect the QC photos and decide. Items arrive at the warehouse for inspection and 3–5 free QC photos. Check colourway, size label and quantity first, then logo placement, stitching density, font spacing, sole and hardware finish, and any glue marks or staining. Compare against a retail reference image rather than the listing photo. Rejecting an item at the warehouse is far cheaper than returning one that has already shipped, so raise any doubt before approving.

5. Store, insure and consolidate. Storage is free for 90 days from check-in with paid extension to a 180-day cap, which is long enough to build a haul but not indefinite. Before shipping you can add AC Care, which covers shipping delay (20% of shipping refunded), loss or damage, and customs seizure, paying up to 10,000 CNY — 7,000 for goods plus 3,000 for shipping. Pricing is 20 CNY per item for coverage up to 667 CNY, or 3% of value above that, and claims must be filed within 30 days. Reinforced packaging is also available.

6. Choose a line and ship. Consolidate items into a single parcel and choose from the advertised 150+ shipping lines. Shipping is charged as a deposit against estimated weight and refunded if you overpay. Remember the add-ons on this leg: a 10–30 CNY customs declaration fee and an 8 CNY handling fee. The 7-tier VIP program takes up to 6% off international shipping and stacks with coupons, so check for stackable discounts before you pay the quote.

Caution on duties. Duty-free de minimis treatment for low-value parcels into the United States ended in 2025, so older guidance promising duty-free delivery under $800 is out of date for US-bound parcels and, after the later suspension, for shipments regardless of value. Budget for import duties on top of the freight quote ACBuy shows you, and compare lines by current per-kilogram price and transit window rather than a figure copied from a review.

Is ACBuy still accepting new orders?

ACBuy suspended order placement in May 2026 for a warehouse upgrade, with no restart date published as of our September 2026 check. Customers were asked to return or ship out warehouse items by around 30 June 2026. Confirm the current status inside your account, or email [email protected], before topping up.

Can I buy Weidian or Yupoo rep finds through ACBuy?

No. ACBuy no longer supports reps or Weidian purchasing — Taobao and 1688 sourcing is unaffected. Weidian and Yupoo links historically routed through its product page, but that route is closed. For Weidian-based finds lists, use an agent that still handles those sources, such as Kakobuy or Oopbuy.

What does ACBuy charge and how long does it store items?

Standard-platform sourcing carries no agent commission; special platforms add a flat 10 CNY per item, and the international leg adds a 10–30 CNY customs declaration fee plus 8 CNY handling. QC gives 3–5 free photos, storage is free for 90 days with paid extension to a 180-day cap, and AC Care runs 20 CNY per item up to 667 CNY, or 3% of value above that.

Record details

After warehouse receipt, HD QC photos cover visible details, and rehearsal packing gives a better pre-dispatch weight estimate before a route is chosen.
