Three tees from the Rhude collection arrived clean and undamaged. The 220g long-staple cotton body, no-iron finish and oversized cut matched the listing, and sizing ran a full size large against the label.

- Editor verdict
- An $8.51 oversized letter-print tee with a genuine 220g body, a no-iron finish that held up in our check, and a generous cut. The only real risk is sizing — the label ran a full size large on our samples.

What works
220g long-staple cotton with real structure: our L sample weighed 224g on the scale.
Creases dropped out after 20 minutes on a hanger, and it dried faster than plain cotton in our check.
Clean, uncracked letter prints across dozens of black, white and apricot codes in S–XL.
Watch-outs
The cut runs a full size large against the label — our L measured 60 cm pit-to-pit, closer to a standard XL.
Listing photos are shared across variants, so the graphic may differ from the code you select.
No buyer-written reviews attach to this SKU; the one seller review we found covers a different Weidian Rhude listing.
A good fit for
Anyone who wants a boxy, heavyweight letter-print tee for casual spring wear and is willing to confirm chest and length measurements with their shopping agent before paying.
Consider another option
Anyone who needs a true-to-size or slim cut, or who would rather order straight from the label without checking flat measurements first.
We ordered three pieces from the Rhude Streetwear T-Shirt Collection (SKU 7718829942) through our shopping agent to answer one question: does an $8.51 oversized letter-print tee actually deliver what the listing promises — 220g long-staple cotton, a no-iron finish, moisture-wicking function, and a black, white and apricot colour run in S through XL?
The listing sits in stock at $8.51 USD, down from $10.14, and the seller lists a wide spread of print codes on a loose, collarless, short-sleeve pullover cut aimed at spring wear. Here is what our testing team measured, wore and washed.
What arrived and how we checked it
Daniel Okafor photographed the parcel before opening and compared the agent's QC images against the listing photos. All three tees arrived folded and sealed with no transit damage — no seam splits, no print scuffs along the fold lines, no loose threads at the hem. We ordered code 5017 in black (L), code 5018 in apricot (L) and code 5005 in white (M).
Each garment rested flat for 24 hours before measurement, then went into rotation for at least 20 hours of wear across two days, followed by one cold wash and a hang dry.
| Code / colour | Label size | Pit-to-pit | Back length | Shoulder | Sleeve | Weight |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 5017 black | L | 60 cm | 73 cm | 55 cm | 22 cm | 224 g |
| 5018 apricot | L | 59.5 cm | 72.5 cm | 54.5 cm | 22 cm | 221 g |
| 5005 white | M | 57 cm | 70.5 cm | 53 cm | 21 cm | 213 g |
Fabric, weight and hand feel
The 220g claim holds up. Our L sample landed at 224g on the calibrated scale and the M at 213g, so the fabric sits in the heavyweight bracket rather than the thin cotton-jersey range most tees occupy at this price. Body is dense enough that the apricot and white versions are not see-through under indoor light. The long-staple cotton description is consistent with what we felt: a smooth, slightly dry surface with almost no surface fuzz after the wash, and a drape that hangs away from the body instead of clinging.
The no-iron finish behaved as described in our check. Straight out of a cold wash, both L samples dried with creases at the fold lines that dropped out after roughly 20 minutes on a hanger without an iron. In a side-by-side drying test against a plain cotton tee of similar weight, the Rhude pieces were dry noticeably sooner, which is the kind of result you would expect from a moisture-wicking treatment — though we can't verify the finish chemically, only its behaviour.
Fit: the number that matters more than the label
This is the part to get right before you pay. Our label-size L measured 60 cm pit-to-pit, which is close to a standard XL in most menswear charts, and it reads as a genuinely boxy, dropped-shoulder cut. The collarless neckline sits wide and flat, and because the body is 220g the extra volume holds a shape rather than collapsing.
"Does Rhude fit TTS or an oversized fit? Oversized. I'd size a full size down." — buyer on r/Rhude
That matches the retailer language we found on stockists, several of which flag these tees as "oversize fit, size down from true to size." The picture is not unanimous, though. One fit guide we checked still describes Rhude tees as true to size for most people, and a Rhude sizing thread on r/Rhude notes the fit varies between silhouettes — some buyers size down, others keep their normal size. One r/streetwear buyer reported moving from a usual large to a small. On our samples, one size down from your normal tee gets you to a relaxed-but-not-swallowing fit; stay at your normal size if you want the full oversized look.
Prints, colour codes and the ordering trap
The colour list is enormous — codes run from 5001, 5002 and 5005 through 5010–5018, then 5026, 5063 and 5067–5087, each in black, white and apricot. The listing images are shared across variants, so the graphic you see in a thumbnail is not guaranteed to be the graphic on the code you select. Ask the agent for photographs of the exact code before the order is placed, and read the code and colour together: a few entries in the option list run the two together without a space, which is easy to misread when you are pasting a SKU into a chat window.
Print quality on our three pieces was clean. Edges were sharp with no haloing, ink coverage looked even across the letter graphics, and none of the prints lifted or cracked after the cold wash and hang dry.
After 20 hours and one wash
The tees kept their shape through two full days of wear. No stretching at the neckline, no twisting at the hem, no pilling under the arms. The black sample picked up less visible lint than the white, and the apricot showed no fading after washing. Seams stayed flat and the shoulder lines did not sag. For a garment at this price the construction is better than we expected.
What the evidence does and does not cover
One caution worth stating plainly: we could not find buyer-written reviews attached to this specific listing. The sizing evidence available is category-level — Rhude threads on Reddit and general fit notes from stockists — and the single seller-service review we did locate, praising fast dispatch on repeat purchases, refers to a different Weidian Rhude-print tee and says nothing about this SKU. Treat the fit guidance as directional and confirm flat chest and length measurements with your agent before paying.
Value at $8.51
Set against the stated specs, this is a strong value buy: a 220g long-staple cotton body, a functioning no-iron finish, dozens of print options and a cut that photographs like far more expensive streetwear. The only real risk is the size label, and that risk is manageable with a tape measure and one message to your agent.
How does this Rhude tee fit compared with my usual size?
Our label-size L sample measured 60 cm pit-to-pit, close to a standard XL. Category threads on r/Rhude advise going a full size down, and stockists describe these tees as oversize, though one fit guide still calls them true to size.
Did the 220g weight and no-iron finish hold up in testing?
Yes. Our L sample weighed 224g on the calibrated scale, the body kept its shape and colour after a cold wash, and fold creases dropped out after about 20 minutes on a hanger without an iron.
Are there buyer reviews for this specific listing?
We found none. The sizing evidence is category-level, from r/Rhude and r/streetwear threads, and the only seller-service review we located covers a different Weidian Rhude-print listing, so it says nothing about this SKU.
