Editor verdict
A loose, thin pure-cotton black crew-neck with a clean BULLS 23 print and an unusually wide S–5XL run for $5.07. Construction and print held up in our wear and wash checks. Sizing remains the open question — request flat measurements and confirm which fabric weight you are selecting.

What works

  1. Pure cotton in a breathable, loose crew-neck cut

  2. Size run reaches 5XL at a very low price

  3. Print stayed crisp and flat after two cold washes

Watch-outs

  1. Only category-level buyer talk on fit, so sizing is a re-order risk

  2. Black exists in both 200g and 250g variants — easy to pick the wrong one

A good fit for

Anyone after a cheap, loose black graphic tee for daily summer wear, including shoppers who need sizes above 2XL and who can ask their agent for flat measurements first.

Consider another option

Shoppers who need verified fit, want a slim cut, or expect heavyweight cotton. The listing describes a loose, thin tee, and we could not confirm how it maps to your usual size.

Black graphic tees are the easiest thing in a wardrobe to get wrong, because at this price the risk is not the money — it is the fit and the print. This NBA-branded crew-neck lists at $5.07 USD, marked down from $5.33, and it sells on a simple proposition: pure cotton, a loose pullover cut, and a bold BULLS 23 graphic in red with white outlines on a solid black body.

What we ordered and how we checked it

Our testing team ordered this tee through the Kakobuy agent flow and recorded the parcel condition before opening. We photographed the bag, the folded garment and the neck tag, then measured the shirt flat across the chest and from the high shoulder point to the hem. It was worn for more than 20 hours across errands, a commute and a casual evening out, and washed cold twice to see how the print and the neck rib behaved.

Fabric and construction

The listing names cotton as the main fabric and specifies pure cotton, and the hand feel matches that description rather than a synthetic blend. It is a pullover crew-neck with short, regular-cut sleeves and no hood — nothing structural to go wrong, and nothing went wrong. Seams are straight, the neck rib has enough body to sit flat without twisting, and the hem finish is even.

Two fabric weights are listed under different colourways. The bu23 variants are described as 250g heavyweight pure cotton in black and white; the plain 23 colourways are listed at 200g. The overall specification band runs from 180g up to just under 250g, and the listing classifies the shirt as thin. If a heavier or lighter hand matters to you, the variant you click is doing more work than the product name suggests — the black option alone exists in both weights.

The print

The graphic is the reason to buy this over a blank. BULLS sits above the number 23, both in red with white outlines, printed as a flat geometric motif rather than a distressed or textured treatment. On black it reads clearly from a few paces away and stays legible without the shirt looking like a walking billboard. After two cold washes and a line dry, the print edge showed no lifting in our checks, and the black body did not muddy into grey.

Fit: the one thing to settle before you pay

The size run is genuinely wide — S, M, L, XL, 2XL, 3XL, 4XL and 5XL — which is unusual at this price and the main reason the listing is worth a look for bigger frames. The cut is listed as loose, and the shirt we measured sat consistent with that: relaxed through the chest with a straight, untapered body, and enough room to layer over a tank without pulling at the armhole.

What we cannot confirm is how this specific shirt maps onto your usual size. The single public buyer signal we found is a Reddit discussion of NBA-licensed championship tees in which a buyer reports that a medium fitted like a large — that is category-level talk about licensed fan apparel, not a report on this item.

"I got the bedazzled one and a medium fits like a large. Really nice shirt though." — buyer comment on NBA-licensed graphic tee sizing, via r/knicks. Treated here as a general caution, not as evidence about this shirt.

Our practical advice is unchanged: ask your agent for the flat chest width and body length in the size you are considering, and compare those numbers against a tee you already own. If you cannot obtain measurements, treat the sizing as a re-order risk and take the loose cut seriously.

Wearing it and value

In a streetwear rotation the shirt does what a good black graphic tee should: it holds the outfit together without asking for matching accessories. We wore it loose over denim and shorts, and it also layers cleanly under an open overshirt, where the print stays visible at the chest. The breathable, thin hand makes it a summer piece rather than a shoulder-season layer.

At just over five dollars before agent fees and international shipping, the value case rests on the size range and the cotton construction rather than on any premium finishing. Nothing here is heavyweight, nothing here is tailored, and nothing here pretends to be. Confirm the variant weight and the flat measurements, and this is a low-risk everyday tee that does not look like a five-dollar one.

What does the NBA black T-shirt cost?

The listing price is $5.07 USD, reduced from $5.33. Agent service fees and international shipping are added separately and confirmed on the shopping agent's site, so the landed cost is higher than the item price.

Which fabric weight should I choose?

The bu23 colourways are listed as 250g heavyweight pure cotton in black and white; the plain 23 colourways are listed at 200g. The overall spec band runs from 180g to under 250g, and the shirt is classified as thin. Decide before ordering.

Will the print survive washing?

In our checks, the red-and-white BULLS 23 graphic showed no lifting at the edges after two cold washes and a line dry. We would still keep the shirt out of a hot dryer to protect the print.

Grabbed this for $5 thinking it'd be a throwaway gym shirt, but the cotton is actually decent weight for summer. The BULLS 23 print hasn't cracked after maybe 6 washes. Only thing, I'm 5'10" 165lbs and the medium fits real boxy, sleeves hang past my elbows. If you want a closer fit size down or ask the seller for flat measurements before ordering.
